Noah Utrecht Sneakers was born out of a passion for—yes, you guessed it—sneakers. In particular, models like the Nike Air Max 1, the Nike Air Max 90, the Nike Air Structure Triax, and many other Nike running models from the pre-2000s are, in our opinion, the best ever made. This passion for sneakers goes way back to Noah's (the founder of Noah Utrecht Sneakers) high school years, around 2007.

Back then, buying new sneakers online was very difficult, if not impossible. However, one of Noah’s classmates showed up at school with a fresh pair of Nike Air Max Light—a pair that was absolutely unavailable in the Netherlands. Noah was instantly hooked and knew he had to get a pair for himself. That evening, he scoured Marktplaats (a Dutch marketplace) in search of his own pair. What he found was a pair of Nike Air Max 90 Infrareds nearby. He picked them up immediately, acquiring his first-ever pair of Nike Air Max. Unfortunately, that specific pair turned out to be fake, but the passion was born!

Now, nearly 20 years later, Noah Utrecht Sneakers helps other Nike Air enthusiasts in their search for their favorite pair. What started as an occasional sale on Marktplaats evolved into an Instagram page with thousands of followers, where rare and exclusive Nike Air Max 1s were sold at low prices. In 2024, it was time for the next step: launching the webshop. The reason for this was the significant increase in orders, with more and more people discovering Noah Utrecht Sneakers and many of them regularly returning for another pair.
