Okay, well. There is a little more to it indeed.

The story of Noah Utrecht Sneakers starts around 2007, when I was around 14 years old. I was not aware of any trends whatsoever at that time. Until a classmate came with some new Nike's he got from his uncle all the way from America. A pair of Nike Air Max Light's. I was blown away, hooked from that moment on and I had to have a pair myself. 

That night I went to go on Marktplaats (the Dutch equivalent of Ebay) to look for some cool pair in my own size. And indeed, I found a pair I liked! A pair of Air Max 90 Infrared's. Too cheap to be true, but what did I know at that time? Later I found out those were the fakest pair I would ever come across. But hey, a passion was born! 

Years have passed and the collection of Air Maxes kept on expanding. The way to fund all of this was by also selling lots of pairs. This started via, once again, Marktplaats. This grew quite quickly and people started asking me if it would be possible to follow me to stay up to date of my offering. As far as I knew that was not possible on Marktplaats, which made me decide to create Noah Utrecht Sneakers on Instagram. 

There, more followers found their way to the page but the boundaries of selling via Instagram started to show after a while. Up until that moment all sales were being done through the chat on Instagram as well as the payment. Off course this was not the most convenient way for you when wanting to order something, and the possibility for error somewhere along the way was always there. Besides that, the more the offering grew the harder it was for people to have an overview of what is currently in stock in their size for example. So, it was time for the next step.
